Stock Shares Aren’t Equal
Stock Shares Summary by Martin Lukac

share of stock
Not all stock shares are equal. Authorized stock shares represent the total number of stock shares that were authorized when the company was created. Some companies will retain stock shares to use later. These are called treasury shares. Restricted shares are company stock used for employee incentives and compensation plans. Restricted stockowners will need the permission of the SEC to sell their stock shares. Float shares are the number of stock shares that are actually available for trade on the open market. Anyone can purchase these stock shares. The outstanding shares are all of the shares issued by the company, including the restricted shares and the float shares.
For example, if company authorizes 100 stock shares. They hold 20 stock shares as treasury shares. There are 10 restricted shares of the company. The outstanding share amount is 80 (10+70=80).
When you look at the relationship of treasury shares and restricted shares to the float shares, you see where the controlling interest of the company resides. There are many companies that retain a large percentage of the authorized stock shares in treasury shares and in restricted shares.
Thousands a Day – Day Trading Stock
Summary by John McLaughlin
Day trading stock, at this level of profitability, is obviously unique.
For those who master the new stock day trading game with a coach in a winner’s stock trading room, the opportunities for learning, not just stock trading, and wealth building are unlimited.
What’s required to generate this kind of money in the stock trading business?
Second, you need to be playing (trading) a winner’s game (system) that your coach recommends, not an old-school game, but a stock trading game big money winners play
Here’s a look at one aspect of stock day trading, from a winner’s perspective.
While day trading, it’s the job of the winning day trader to find stock trading setups – stocks that present opportunities to make substantial money – what we refer to as stocks in a “tension” state.
The winner’s focus is to trade this action to win (not the money involved) one or more trades during the trading day – that can generate $500 to $2,000 and more per trade, depending on lot size (the number of stock shares traded). (We only trade stocks).
This opportunity to trade the price action on any of thousands of stocks, any trading day, and time of the trading day, makes trading stocks far more interesting, and frequently more challenging than other form of day trading.
